Technical recommendations on the IAEA safeguards procedures for nuclear power plants with WWER-1000 reactors

Description
Recommendations on the IAEA safeguards procedures for NPPs with WWER-1000 are given with provision for specific features of the facility under consideration, safeguards approach and technical control equipment suggested for using. Technical recommendations on taking account of requirements of the IAEA safeguards procedures in the NPP design with WWER-1000 are suggested to increase the effectiveness of the application of the Agency's safeguards measures. Possibility for equipping the WWER-1000 NPPs with technical means available in the IAEA and being developed within the framework of the USSR research and development support programme for the IAEA safeguards is considered.
