Application of perturbing probes for diagnostics of a plasma jet

  • 1. Inst. Khimicheskoj Kinetiki i Goreniya SO RAN, Novosibirsk (Russian Federation)

Description

The experience in applying the Langmuir probe cylindrical lattice as a perturbing body for plasma jet diagnostics is presented. Plasma potential is determined by the minimum of ions scattering at the probe section. Potential values obtained are compared with the results of the characteristics analysis. Conditions for application of the above method are discussed
