Conclusion (Sintering methods for processing of Tajikistan aluminosilicate ores)

Description

This book systematizes the results of sintering method for processing aluminosilicate ores. There are sufficient reserves of alumina-bearing ores in the country. At present, the Aluminum Plant of Tajikistan receives alumina from abroad. The cost of transporting this raw material becomes more and more expensive every year, which increases the cost of aluminum. One of the primary tasks of researchers is to ensure the production of aluminum with local raw materials. Consequently, the transition to the use of domestic raw materials is an urgent task. Researches which were done by employees of the Nikitin Institute of Chemistry has shown the perspective of using low-quality aluminosilicate ores in their complex use. The most perspective raw materials are nepheline syenites, siallites, kaolin clays, argillite, etc. The studies carried out on sintering decomposition of aluminosilicate ores made allowed to find the optimal conditions for the decomposition of raw materials to obtain a number of valuable products. The sintering method provides a high degree of penetration of hard-to-open ores and the possibility of selective extraction of valuable components without affecting the gangue minerals.
