Non-destructive evaluation of material damage and ageing
Description
This paper concerns the problems in nuclear power stations caused by thermal ageing of cast duplex stainless steel in main primary circuit; neutronic radiation the vessel and vessel's internal components; and problems caused by mechanical damage. Some non-destructive methods for ageing and damage evaluation and latest results obtained in this field were briefly discussed. (author). 7 figs
