Synthesis and investigation of complexes of certain transition metals with trimecaine

Description

Synthesis and IR-spectroscopy of the structure of coordination compounds of cadmium chlorides and other certain elements with trimecaine (diethylamino-2,4-6-trimethylacetanimide, L) are carried out. Melting points of complexes and their composition: CdLCl2(1) and Cd(LH)2Cl4xH2O(2), are determined. The molecular structure of the compounds is established. A metal atom in complex 1 is shown to be related coordinately to the nitrogen atom of a tertiary aminogroup; in complex 2 the relation between anion CdCl42- and tertiary nitrogen atom of the ligand is of the ionic character
