On possible way of decrease of toxicity of iodine containing radiopaque agents

An experiment on mongrel dogs was carried out to investigate a new radiopaque agent containing adipiodone, protein, glycerin, sodium chloride. The investigation of adipiodone, the native radiopaque agent, used in cholegraphy was undertaken for decrease of the toxicity. It was established that the suggested complex solution possessed the properties enabling to contrast biliferous ducts. This solution can be kept without changes for 3 years
