Cross sections of radionuclide production in the (p,x) reactions on aluminium and silicon

Description
Measurement results of 47Be, 918F, 1122Na, 1124Na, 1227Mg, 1328Al and 1329Al radioisotope formation cross sections in the process of 20-100 MeV proton interaction with nuclei of aluminium and silicon targets with natural isotope compositions are presented. The data obtained are compared with previously published ones. The information can be used when evaluating the effects of the Earth radiation belt protons and solar cosmic protons on microelectronics elements, and also for the element analysis of semiconductor materials using the activation by protons
