Comments on the first intensive period of observation of E/sub s/ in Europe

Description
More than twenty European vertical‐sounding stations participated in an intensive period of observation of E S on June 15, 16, and 17, 1971. Results show that, using values of ƒ 0 E S from this network, useful information can be obtained about the structure and movement of E S clouds.
