Bubble chambers: technology and impact on high energy physics
Description
The aim of the paper is to outline the evolution and impact of bubble chambers (BC) on selected technical development and elementary particle physics. BC using at particle accelerators, in studying the stable particles, meson and baryon resonances, weak decays of the kaons and charmed particles, neutrino interactions and charm production is described briefly. The special technological developments of BC (holographic BC and BC with track sensitive targets) are considered too

Цель работы - описать эволюцию пузырьковых камер (ПК) и их влияние на некоторые технические разработки и физику элементарных частиц. Кратко описывается использование ПК на ускорителях, в исследованиях стабильных частиц, мезонных и барионных резонансов, слабых распадов каонов и очарованных частиц, нейтронных взаимодействий и в образованиях очарованных частиц. Рассмотрены также специальные технологические усовершенствования ПК (голографические ПК и ПК с трекочувствительными мишенями)Additional details
