Quantum BRST anomaly of two-dimensional chiral bosons

Description
Covariant canonical quantization of the chiral boson is performed, based on the BRST programme, and the quantum BRST anomaly is also calculated in details. In addition, it is discussed concisely that a generalized BRST quantization approach may be used to consistently quantize the anomalous chiral theory. (orig.)
