Description
Soon after the discovery of charm flare it has been suggested that in analogy with strange nuclei there should also exist charmed nuclei. The theoretical estimations based on this analogy predicted a rich spectrum and a wide range of atomic numbers for the bound states of charmed baryons and nucleons. So, one could expect that history would repeat itself: the discovery of charmed nuclei would give rise to a new branch of nuclear physics. (orig./HSI)
