Hydrogen permeability of beryllium

Description

Hydrogen permeability through beryllium up to 650 deg C temperature and 21 atm hydrogen pressure is studied. Temperature dependence of hydrogen permeability through beryllium and the process of activation energy are stated. Hydrogen permeability through beryllium is lower than for such structural materials as iron, stainless steels, molybdenum. Hydrogen permeability of hot-pressed beryllium is reduced with the decrease of particle size of the initial powder
