Estimates of multistep processes
Description
A variational principle, based on microscopic trial wavefunctions to calculate the corrections to the Born Amplitude, is discussed. The formalism can be applied to the case of transitions to many body final channels. Applications of the formalism to some model calculations is discussed. (author)
