Description
The External Dosimetry Laboratory of the Center for Radiation Protection and Hygiene has some manual TLD readers. The data obtained from the equipment were necessary to register them manually for their later data processing. In this paper, the results obtained in the design and elaboration of a system for the connection of the TLD equipment to a standard personal computer (PC) are described. The system includes a PC card for acquisition of data and a software to achieve the acquisition and the data processing. The structure of the program is described. (author)
