Method and device for investigation of the total cross section
Description
The method consists in directing a fast neutrons flux through a vacuum space of a certain length and straightline moving of the isotope specimen in the flux. The flux intensity values measured in the presence and in the absence of the specimen are compared. The device proposed consists in fast neutron flux source, analyzer and vacuum space between them with at least one movable isotope specimen fixed firmly and perpendicularly to a transport belt placed papallely to the axis connecting the source and the recording analyzer. 2 cls
