The Varying Temperature Irradiation Experiment in the High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR) was carried out in the framework of the Japan-USA fusion cooperation program (JUPITER). The objective of the experiment is to investigate the performance of fusion structural materials subject to temperature variation during operation.
