Description
TU-TPC electronics is used to get information on the arrival time and charge of the electrons which drift to the readout detector from the drift. The quantity of charge is measured by method of digital integral based on FADC results and the arrival time is recorded by HPTDC cell. It has excellent performance such as good resolution for time and charge measure, low noise and cross talk between different parts. First, the paper introduces the architecture and principle of TU-TPC electronics, and the presents some parameter measurements by some specific designed test. In the end, the electronic system was connected to the TPC chamber and take data,. Through off-line analysis, charged particle track was reconstructed and diffusion constant, spatial resolution was computed. It shows TU-TPC electronics has excellent performance and can be well capable of readout for TPC prototype. (authors)
