Actinide source term predictions for spent fuel at Yucca Mountain
Description
The recent availability of experimental data for unsaturated drip tests on spent nuclear fuel permit the calculation of realistic and conservative actinide source terms for these spent fuel samples. Source terms based on these data are an improvement over those based on static closed-system saturated experiments and solubility calculations for Yucca Mountain, Nevada
