Description

Detailed and high sensitivity (E ≥ 10-9 V/cm) measurements of J-E (I-V) characteristics were made for Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10/Ag composite tapes at 4.2, 2.7, 55-90, and 64-77 K in liquid cryogens and at H = 0-17 T. The results have helped clarify the critical current limiting factors as well as revealing a new low voltage dissipation phenomena in these composites. A brief summary of the results are presented
