Gravitation tank of contact condenser spray systems of nuclear power plants

Description
The tank is closed at the top and provided with an incomplete vertical partition and a connected lower overflow wall which creates a small and shallow bubbling depressurization space and in the back, a trough connected to the distribution piping. The tank allows the operation of a fully passive spray system which reliably reduces the post-accident pressure in the spaces of the primary circuit of a PWR nuclear power plant. (M.D.)
