The study of isotope geology for the genetic mechanism of Chanziping uranium deposit

Description

Based on the evolutionary characteristics of the U-Pb isotopic system and the data of the isotopic composition of oxygen and sulphur, it is suggested that the uranium deposit has multi-sources, the main uranium source of which is from the stratum itself. The mineralizing solutions are considered as a mixed system of metamorphic and meteoric water. The minerogenetic process of this deposit has undergone pre-concentration during diagenetic stage, primary concentration in Caledonian folding metamorphism and multisuperimposed reconcentration which took place at 75 +- 4 m.y., 43 +- 7 m.y. and 22 +- 2 m.y. ago. These processes are closely related to the development history of the regional geological tectonic activity. Therefore, we consider it to be a strata-bound uranium deposit of the multi-source and later multi-superim-position
