Hodgkin's disease in nasopharynx and nasal fossa

Description

A rare case of Hodgkin's disease involving the nasopharynx, nasal fossa and cervical nodes in a 50-year-old Irish woman is reported. She was treated with radiotherapy in 1975. Since then she has remained symptom free for about seven years. No chemotherapy has been given. Radiation reaction at the lip and in the mouth was tackled by shielding the spinal cord with lead shield from the third week of radiotherapy. (author)
