Description
Once thought to be the first selective D1 dopamine antagonist, the antipsychotic drug SCH23390 now shows evidence of producing its effect by interaction with receptors which may be a subpopulation of the D1 dopamine receptors. SCH23390 has been tritium labeled in our laboratory by palladium catalyzed reduction of a brominated precursor with tritium gas to afford the product with a specific activity of 5.6 Ci/mmole. 10 refs
