Contribution towards the development of radiothermoluminescent detectors for photon and neutron measurements in personnel dosimetry

Description
Because 6Li presents a capture cross section which is energy dependent and 7Li is practically energy independent, many workers use LiF as an RTL material. In order to bring to light the special features of LiF in mixed fields, the characteristics of this material are described in the first part of text and its particular use for equivalent neutron dose measurements in dosimetry are described in the second part
