The contribution elucidates the major aspects of the German-French cooperation up to the present: fundamental research, reactor safety, development of new types of reactors. For two years now cooperation has taken place on a larger scale: foundation of the company Nuclear Power International (NPI) held jointly by Siemens and Framatome, further the conclusion of long-term contracts on reprocessing between German energy supply companies and Cogema. Future perspectives are a bilateral cooperation in the area of reactors, especially for realizing the EFR, and in the area of disposal and terminal decommissioning. (HSCH)
Abstract (German)
Der Beitrag erlaeutert die bisherigen wesentlichen Aspekte der deutsch-franzoesischen Zusammenarbeit: Grundlagenforschung, Reaktorsicherheit, Entwicklung neuer Reaktorbaureihen. Seit zwei Jahren ist die Zusammenarbeit erweitert: Gruendung des Gemeinschaftsunternehmens Nuclear Power International (NPI) zwischen Siemens und Framatome, ferner Abschluss langfristiger Wiederaufarbeitungsvertraege zwischen deutschen EVU und Cogema. Zukuenftige Perspektiven sind bilaterale Zusammenarbeit auf dem Gebiet der Reaktoren, insbesondere hin zum EFR, und auf dem Gebiet der Entsorgung und endgueltigen Stillegung. (HSCH)Additional details
