Description
Nuclear power is developing rapidly in several countries. The third generation of power plants is being built, and R and D programs for the next generation of plants have started in international cooperation. The present report is a global outlook on the existing plants, on technology, reactor safety and environmental impacts, on plans for construction and building new plants, on the nuclear fuel cycle and the supply of uranium, on nuclear wastes and on the future of nuclear power for the next 20-30 years
