Toroidal magnet system for fusion reactors with good accessibility
Creators
- 1. General Atomic Company, San Diego, California (United States)
Description
A new toroidal magnet coil for fusion reactors is proposed which will greatly improve the accessibility to the device for assembly and maintenance. Two basic types of coil structures are employed : one which links the toroidal chamber and one which does not. The latter type of coils can be easily removed to provide improved access. (author)
