Description
The isothermal section (800 0C) of the phase diagram of the ternary system Y - Al - Ga is first plotted. It consists of four ternary phase regions, namely, 1-Y Al2.6-2.0 Ga1.4-2.0, 2-Y Al0.90-0.70 Ga1.10-1.30, approx 3-Y3 Al2.5-2.0 Ga2.5-3.0, and approx 4-Y2Al Ga2, and extensive solid solutions based on binary compounds
