Getting to grips with water chemistry and corrosion
Creators
Description
A report is given of an IAEA symposium on water chemistry and corrosion problems of nuclear reactor systems and components which was held in Vienna on 22-26 November 1982. Recent findings in the field of PWR primary circuit activity are outlined. Important areas of research which were discussed include coolant chemistry control, the choice of materials and secondary water chemistry. (U.K.)
