Cephaloroentgenography for the general practitioner

Description

A method is described by means of which the general practitioner can produce an 'emergency'-cephalogram. Although the angles obtained have a reasonable degree of accuracy, the amount of linear enlargement and distortion is unacceptable for the assessment of growth and treatment effects. It is however, certainly of value as an aid to diagnosis

'n Metode word beskryf waardeur 'n praktisyn met die minimum koste en moeite 'n bruikbare 'nood'-kefalogram kan bekom. Hoewel die hoeke wat verkry word 'n bruikbare orde van akkuraatheid het, is die mate van liniere vergroting en verwronging onaanvaarbaar sover dit die bepaling van die effek van groei en behandeling aangaan.
