Energy dependence of π+/π- ratio in pp-collisions in the three-component shower model and the analysis of multiple production data

Description

It is proved in the frame of the three-component model with showers for multiple production of particles that the ratio of the average number of π+-mesons to the average number of π--mesons in pp-collisions is expressed by the formula π+/π-=1+0(a-1), where a is a model parameter depending on ln s. The estimations of the average numbers of p, n, Λ deg, Σ are given in the energy interval from 70 to 300 GeV/c. The values of differences π+ - π- and π deg - π- are found to be constant and equal to 0.67 and 0.48, respectively
