Relativistic solar cosmic ray dynamics during October-November 2003 events: modeling study

Description
The data on the world neutron monitor net for the solar cosmic ray events, registered on 28.10 and 21.11.2003, are analyzed through the optimization methods. The spectra, pitch-angular distributions and anisotropy of the relativistic solar protons are determined for the consecutive time moments. Presence of two components (fast and slow ones) in the relativistic solar proton flux of both events is noted. The components essentially differ in their characteristics, which may testify to the difference between their sources in the Sun and peculiarities of their transport in the interplanetary magnetic field

Методами оптимизации анализируются данные мировой сети нейтронных мониторов для событий СКЛ, зарегистрированных 28.19 и 2.11.2003 г. Для последовательных моментов времени определены спектры, питч-угловые распределения и анизотропия релятивистских солнечных протонов. Отмечается присутствие двух компонент (быстрой и медленной) в потоке релятивистских солнечных протонов для обоих событий. Компоненты существенно различаются по своим характеристикам, что может свидетельствовать о различии их источников на Солнце и особенностях переноса в межпланетном магнитном полеAdditional details
