Physicochemical conditions for preparation of low-temperature crystal modifications of rubidium- and cesium-rare earth molybdates

  • 1. AN SSSR, Novosibirsk. Inst. Neorganicheskoj Khimii

Description

Conditions are determined for crystallization of low-temperatUre modifications of RbLn(MoOL4)2 and Csn(MoO4)2 compounds for some REs in hydrothermal solutions of rubidium- and cesiUm molybdates. The compounds are shoWn to be crystallized in the 575-600 deg C temperature range for compounds with rubidiUm and in the 550-600 deg C range for compounds with cesium from burden with the ratio of the initial oxides Ln2O3:MoO3 1:2; 1:3 in solutions of alkali rubidium and cesium molybdates at a concentration equal to 10-20 w.t.%. The synthesized compounds are classified by structural types
