The electronic device of the Rossendorf proton recoil counter spectrometer

Description

Both the counters used in the Rossendorf proton recoil counter spectrometer and its electronic device are described. Layout of the amplifiers and some features of pulse processing are considered in connection with the physical requirements. In particular, pulse processing in the case of high counting rates and neutron-gamma pulse form discrimination ensuring a lower limit of detectable energy of 1 ... 2 keV are demonstrated. (author)
