Description

The burning liquid is collected in adjacent tanks. Each tank is closed by a funnel shaped cover the hole in the center is closed by a sphere. The tanks are communicating through valves formed by spheres. The sphere density is lower than the liquid density

Abstract (French)

L'extinction d'un combustible liquide enflamme est realisee en le recueillant dans un receptacle forme de bacs juxtaposes. Chacun des bacs est surmonte d'un couvercle en forme d'entonnoir, pourvu d'un orifice central qu'obture normalement par gravite une sphere. Les bacs adjacents sont solidarises par des oeillets definissant des passages normalement obtures par des spheres suspendues aux couvercles. La densite des spheres leur permet de flotter sur le combustible liquide
