Study on the sup(130)Te (n,γ) sup(131g,m)Te reaction

Description

Cross sections of neutron radiative capture by the 130Te nucleus and ratio of probabilities of the isomeric pair formation in the 130Te(n,γ) reaction in the range of 250-2500 keV have been measured by the activation method. 7Li(p,n) and T(p,n) reactions were the source of fast neutrons. Fast neutron irradiation of Te samples was carried out at 0 deg angle to a proton beam. Calculation of 130Te cross sections of neutron radiative capture was made in accordance with the statistical theory of nuclear reactions. Isomeric ratios are calculated in the framework of the Gizengy-Wangenbosh model. Course of cross sections of neutron radiative capture by the 130Te nucleus is adequately described by the statistical theory of nuclear reactions. The calculation using the Gizengy-Wangenbosh model reflects well the energy course of the isomeric ratio
