Description
The author discusses the work done by the recipients of the 1980 Nobel Prize in Physics; in particular, the experiment in which CP-violation was discovered, i.e. the two pion decay mode of the long-lived neutral kaon (Ksub(L)→π++π-), is described and its implications explored. (G.T.H.)
