Description
Requirements on safety systems in nuclear power plants have become more rigid in the last few years as can be seen in the new regulations and guidelines. However, there is still no catalogue of binding regulations for reprocessing plants, so that analogical application is demanded in the licensing practice. This, in turn, requires a quantitative establishment of the safety value of the systems of a reprocessing plant. After an earlier investigation of the WAK cooling water supply, this paper now presents the findings for a total failure of the WAK electricity supply system. (orig./RW)
Abstract (German)
Die Anforderungen an die Systeme mit sicherheitstechnischer Bedeutung in Kernkraftwerken sind in den letzten Jahren gesteigert worden und haben ihren Niederschlag in Regeln und Richtlinien gefunden. Fuer Wiederaufarbeitungsanlagen gibt es ein Regelwerk gegenwaertig noch nicht. Daher wird in der Genehmigungspraxis immer die sinngemaesse Anwendung gefordert. Dazu muss der sicherheitstechnische Stellenwert, den die Systeme einer Wiederaufarbeitungsanlage haben, quantitativ ermittelt werden. Nachdem dies bereits fuer die Kuehlwasserversorgung der WAK durchgefuehrt wurde, liegen nun auch die Ergebnisse fuer einen Ausfall der gesamten Elektroversorgung der WAK vor.
