Detection of α-Fe2O3 precipitations in a Ca-V-Fe garnet

Description
Moessbauer studies were used in the quantitative analysis of the α-Fe2O3 precipitation in a Ca-V-Fe garnet. The Moessbauer spectra of Ca-V-Fe garnets containing 4, 8, 12 wt % of α-Fe2O3 are presented. Also given is the dependence of the Moessbauer spectra intensity on the α-Fe2O3 content. (Z.S.)
