Structure of doorway states in the 40Ca + n reaction

Description
A model including 2 p - 1 h and collective states in 41Ca is used to investigate the intermediate structure resonances seen in the n + 40Ca reaction. With potential well parameters determined by a calculation of the bound states it is found that most of the s-wave strength can be accounted for by the inclusion of one main doorway state component. Ein Modell mit 2 p - 1 h und Kollektiv-Zustaenden in 41Ca wird zur Untersuchung der Zwischenstrukturresonanzen in der Reaktion n + 40Ca verwendet. Nach der Bestimmung der Potentialtopf-Parameter durch eine Berechnung der gebundenen Zustaende wird festgestellt, dass die Staerke der s-Welle zum grossten Teil auf die Inklusion einer Hauptkomponente des Doorway-Zustandes zurueckzufuehren ist.
