Description
The structure of stationary Langmuir turbulence spectra is investigated by taking into account generation of oscillations and their induced scattering by plasma ions. It is shown that under conditions of the diffusion approximation for scattering the spectrum has the form of thin jets : the oscillation spectral distribution nk does not vanish on lines or on surfaces in κ-space. The results are illustrated by the problem of relaxation of an electron beam in a plasma and of heating of a plasma by an intense electromagnetic wave. The process of establishment of a stationary spectrum is modelled numerically. (author)
