Description

The g-factor of the 1775 keV 6+ level of 132Te has been measured using the method of time-differential perturbed angular correlation. The γ-ray cascade of interest was observed following the β-decay of mass-separated 132Sb. The deduced g-factor of 0.79+-0.09 fits well into the available systematics for levels with a configuration dominated by the proton 1gsub(7/2) orbital. (orig.)
