Description
A method which allows an analysis of main elements in coal by neutron induced prompt γ ray analysis is described. The thermal neutron capture reactions (n,γ) and fast neutron inelastic scattering reactions (n,n'γ), which are threshold reactions, are mutually complementary in the material elemental analysis. An experimental equipment and analysis method has been established, and some satisfactory results have been obtained
