Description
Spin-reorientation phase transitions in rare earth-transition metal (RE-TM) magnetic superlattices are studied theoretically. The magnetic phase diagram is constructed for the case of a magnetization process along the easy axis. The feature of the model considered is to take into account finite-size effects. The phase transitions in RE-TM superlattices with isotropic and anisotropic surface layers are discussed. ((orig.))
