Description

Data concerning with radioecological situation in the Semipalatinsk region are given in the analytical review. 40-year activity of former Semipalatinsk test site conducted to total contamination of 711 settlements by fission products from nuclear explosions. Now about half million man are living in damaged districts . All of them got from 2 up to 500 c Gy dose of radiation. In result of this the unusually high common sickness rate, population high chronicity of diseases, high rate of children abnormalities on background of immuno- deficit with leukopenia and anemias take place. Men have been run more baneful influence during atmosphere and nuclear test from 1949 up to 1963
