Resonating-group calculations with new cluster wave function for p+3,4He elastic scattering

Description
A new type of cluster internal wave function that can produce improved results, especially for the cluster binding energy, has been proposed. As a first application, we have carried out calculations for the case of p+3He and p+4He elastic scattering on the basis of the resonating group method with this type of wave function. The agreement of the calculated results and the experimental data is quite satisfactory. (author)
