Ion source for a cyclotron
Description
D+2, D+1H+2 or He++4 ions are produced in low pressure gas discharges. The discharge burns between a hot cathode and a reflector inside a combustion chamber. The hot cathode consists of a tungsten wire bracket on which a cone or cylinder is placed. This consists of hafnium carbide. (RW)

In der Niederdruck-Gasentladung werden D+2, D+1H+2 oder He++4-Ionen erzeugt. Die Entladung brennt zwischen einer Gluehkathode und einem Reflektor innerhalb einer Brennkammer. Die Gluehkathode besteht aus einem Wolframdrahtbuegel, auf den ein Kegel oder Zylinder aufgesetzt ist. Er besteht aus Hafniumkarbid. (RW)Files
