Is the quality of routine chest CT improved by changing to a high-resolution algorithm

This paper assesses the effect of changing to a high-resolution reconstruction algorithm on image and diagnostic quality of standard chest CT and to compare this with fine-section, high-resolution CT. Forty patients with a variety of pulmonary diseases underwent chest CT with a Somatom Plus scanner (Siemens).
