Heat capacity measurements and a search for superfluidity in 3He-4He mixtures at very low temperatures

Description
Measurements of the heat capacity of dilute solutions of 3He in 4He give useful information about the interactions of the 3He quasiparticles; however, they should also be a reliable indicator for any phase transition which occurs in the solutions. The most recently published calculation predicts a transition of the quasiparticles into a superfluid phase at mixture temperatures now becoming available for experiments. 1 references, 1 table
