Correlations of identical particles in inelastic and central carbon-carbon collisions at P=4.2 GeV/c per nucleon

Description
Two-particle correlations between negative pions and between protons in inelastic and central carbon-carbon collisions at P=4.2 GeV/c per nucleon have been studied. Mean square radii of the emission region of negative pions and protons have been estimated. A comparison of the PI-PI- and pp correlation function has been made for each category of events. (author)
